I recently finished reading through a copy of Homeschool Happenings, Happenstance, and Happiness, and I recommend it to anyone who values family and a God-focused life.It's light reading, in a way, and yet it also deals with a lot of deep stuff.
Dan White feels strongly about what he states and believes, and he has experiences and history to back it up.
I, as a single young woman, am very encouraged by the story of the White family, and hope to someday raise a family of my own with a Godly man; a family that is rooted in the foundations of Faith, Love and Truth.
One thing that I differ a bit on is the use of the terms, "liberals" and "conservatives". Liberals aren't all bad, and conservatives aren't all good - and there are true believers in both crowds. Also, I feel like calling people by such names is polarizing, and people try to fit themselves and others into categories that they may not even fit into at all! I, personally, consider myself a liberal conservative - or a conservative liberal. Whichever. :)
So I don't agree with some of the statements about, "liberals", and a few polarizing conclusions, but overall I agree with most of what's in the book, and definitely support the principles I see throughout.
